Andaz (pronounced ahn-dahs) is a hotel in Wailea that opened in 2013 at the site of the former Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort Maui. The hotel is managed by Hyatt.

About the Andaz Wailea Resort

Andaz Wailea is a 297-unit luxury hotel with personal service, restaurants, four levels of large pools (including three infinity pools), a spa, bar, gym, and meeting space. It is beautiful and ultra-modern, but the rooms are not large (about 400 square feet). (Suites are 850 square feet.) 65% of the rooms have an ocean view, and all rooms have a rain shower with an outdoor view. The Andaz Wailea also has 19 shoreside villas for sale rather than for rent. There are five other Andaz hotels in the world, with six more being planned.

The Andaz Luau has taken Maui by storm, offering a high-end, best-of-the-best luau experience. We LOVED the food, show, and entire experience.

The top restaurant in the new Andaz Wailea Resort is Morimoto Maui, run by Iron Chef Masaharu, who has been on TV in Iron Chef and Iron Chef America. The second fine dining restaurant at the Andaz is Kaana Kitchen, run by one of Maui’s top chefs, Isaac Bancaco.

The beach in front of the Andaz is Mokapu Beach.
