Lunch at The Ulupalakua Ranch Store
Ulupalakua Ranch Store Grill (not spelled Ulapalakua) is the small restaurant in the store across the street, in front of Tedeschi Vineyard, Maui’s Winery. It’s at the 2000 foot elevation in Ulupalakua, at the south end of Upcountry, on the southeastern slopes of Haleakala. Phone 808-878-2561.
This is the place to eat lunch when you go for the tour and wine tasting at the Tedeschi Winery. This store is open every day from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, but the grill is only open for lunch from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM. They have a short menu with a few types of burgers, plus meat plate lunches and sometimes fish. The food is very tasty.
All of the seating is at picnic tables outdoors, some covered and some uncovered. This grill restaurant is in a small store with ranch and cowboy-themed clothes and souvenirs.
