About Maka

Maka is all vegan, all gluten-free, and mostly raw food. This restaurant is created and owned by Mana Foods, a grocery store that is well known on Maui for its locally grown organic produce and other healthy foods. Paia is often called Maui’s hippy or surfer town, on the north shore.

I am not a vegan, but I was amazed at how delicious and beautifully presented, all the food is at Maka. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, whenever Mana Foods grocery store is open. There are breakfast bowls, salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, soup, pies, ice cream, juices, and smoothies, and all are vegan and gluten-free.
