Fine Dining on the Beach at Leilani’s Maui

Leilani’s On The Beach Maui is really two different restaurants with similar names in one building. The upstairs restaurant, Leilani’s Dining Room, is a fine dining restaurant and only serves dinner. The downstairs restaurant, Leilani’s Beachside Grill, is more casual, less expensive, has a more limited menu, and is open for both lunch and dinner. Leilani’s is on the beachside of Whalers Village shopping center in Kaʻanapali. Phone 808-661-4495.

Leilani’s menu upstairs includes several Hawaiian fish, steaks, seafood, and more. The downstairs menu has more fried foods, burgers, and sandwiches. My favorite item upstairs is the parmesan-crusted fish, while my favorite downstairs is the fish tacos. Both places serve their famous Hula Pie for dessert. Upstairs or down, Leilani’s is a fun place to eat on Kaʻanapali Beach.
