About Captain Jack’s Maui (Lahaina Location)
There are several restaurants in the Wharf Center, but Captain Jack’s is my favorite. Here’s why. Most of the restaurants in the Wharf are tucked away in the back with no view. Only two, Captain Jacks and Cool Cat Cafe, are in front, right along Front Street, with great views looking down on the passing tourists, the historic Pioneer Inn, and the Banyan Tree. At Cool Cat, I have often had a long wait to be seated, followed by a long wait for service. But at Captain Jack’s restaurant, I always got in right away, and the service was fast and friendly.
There’s one menu at Captain Jack’s restaurant all day, every day, from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM. There are lots of good choices for lunch, dinner, or snack time. The BBQ quesadilla is listed as an appetizer, but I find it big enough for an entree. Other favorite appetizers are coconut shrimp and crabcake sliders. There are six salads and two kinds of soup. Sandwiches include fish, Philly cheesesteak, and burgers. Of course, they have fish & chips, ribs, and loco moco. Then, they offer some Mexican flavors such as burritos, fajitas, and five kinds of tacos. There are a variety of sides, from onion rings to Spanish rice. With 65 items on the menu, there are plenty of things to like.

There are about 45 Lahaina restaurants reviewed on this website, more than half of which are inexpensive. But only about five of those inexpensive Lahaina restaurants have a fun view of the town as you get here with the really good food at Captain Jack’s.
