Slappy Cakes is a make-your-own-pancakes restaurant that opened its Maui location in 2013. It is in the Honokowai Marketplace (the shopping center with Times grocery store) at the corner of the Upper Honoapiilani Highway and the Lower Honoapiilani Road, about 5 minutes north of Kaʻanapali.

About Slappy Cakes Maui
You can have the restaurant cook your pancakes for you in their kitchen. Or you can have the fun of doing it yourself at your table. You can choose from several types of batters and added ingredients (fruit, chocolate chips, nuts, etc.), and then you can cook your own pancakes on a griddle built into each table. But there’s lots more to Slappy Cakes than pancakes. They also have a full selection of eggs, breakfast meats, benedicts, and more, plus the world’s best warm fresh banana bread, and you don’t cook any of those yourself. It’s open 7 days per week for breakfast and lunch.
