To Stay or Not To Stay
There are just three reasons why I do not recommend you stay at the Maui Beach Hotel on your vacation: location, location, location. This hotel is in the big city of Kahului, close to Maui’s biggest shopping mall, and less than three miles from Maui’s main Kahului Airport (OGG). It is adjacent to the Maui Seaside Hotel. But it is far from the resort areas, tourist areas, and best beaches, which are in West Maui (Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kapalua) and South Maui (Kihei and Wailea). Therefore I suggest that you stay at one of the many hotels and condos in those areas, for which you can see reviews and photos at these links:

Or if you need a hotel near the Maui airport for your arrival or departure day, then a much newer and better choice is the Courtyard by Marriott adjacent to the airport.
