Horseback Riding Tours To Take On Maui

Horseback riding is one of the favorite activities of some Maui visitors.  It combines the fun of riding, with the enjoyment of Maui’s spectacular scenery.

Horseback riding tours are available in several parts of Maui, each with its own scenic advantages.  You can choose your location so you can see — The south side of Haleakala, with Maui’s last lava flow and LaPerouse Bay — Thompson Ranch — Mendes Ranch — Ironwood Ranch — Kula (Upcountry) — Oheo and Kipahulu — West Maui Mountains — or a working cattle ranch.  There is a range of difficulties available for the various rides, so be sure to discuss your riding experience (or lack of experience) with the riding stable operator.

See below for a discussion of some of the companies offering horseback rides on Maui, and the differences that will help you choose the right one for you. Or click for more things to do on Maui.
