Where To Dine When Visiting West Maui
The tragic fires of 2023 have changed the face of West Maui, and we’ve lost many restaurants. That being said, we still have some great dining options.
Lahaina Gateway offers a diverse selection of food options to satisfy any craving. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at Kihei Caffe. Pieology Pizzeria lets you create custom pizzas, while Teddy’s Bigger Burgers serves up juicy, gourmet burgers. Quench your thirst with unique flavors at Maui Bubble Tea and treat yourself to delicious desserts at Island Cream Co. For a complete grocery shopping experience, head to Foodland Farms.
I have divided the below lists into inexpensive restaurants, moderate restaurants, and fine-dining (expensive) restaurants. I have included some restaurants in the surrounding West Maui area because there are so few options in Lahaina right now. About Lahaina Restaurants
The Maui fires have significantly impacted many restaurants in Lahaina, causing some to relocate while others remain. Lahaina, on Maui’s west side, is close to dining options in nearby areas such as Kaʻanapali, Honokowai, Kahana, Napili, and Kapalua. Guests staying at resort hotels like the Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, or Sheraton in Kaʻanapali or condos such as Kaʻanapali Aliʻi, Whaler, Mahana, and Royal Kahana can enjoy a variety of dining experiences. I have included many of my favorite West Maui restaurants here for convenience.
