Poolside restaurant at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas

Auntie’s Kitchen is a large open-air restaurant that is poolside at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas. That timeshare condo building is at 6 Kai Ala Drive, at the north end of Kaanapali Beach. Phone 808-667-3259.

At Auntie’s Kitchen, you have a nice view of one of the large pools, as well as part of the buildings and grounds of this modern complex. The wooden tables area is covered but open to the light Maui breezes. The menu consists of nine pupus (appetizers), four salads, three poke bowls, six sandwiches, six plate lunches, ten sides, and seven desserts. After 5 PM, in addition to all of the above, there are five dinner entrees. My favorite menu category is plate lunches. These each consist of the main item (pork, steak, shrimp, chicken, fish, or tofu), plus a scoop of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad.

Most people eating at Auntie’s Kitchen are staying in the adjacent timeshare condo buildings. But if you are staying anywhere in the Kaanapali area, this is a good choice for good food at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And it’s less expensive than the restaurants at the fancy Kaanapali resort hotels.
